The Shakti Vani Ayu Resort is located on the east coast of Sri Lanka in a natural setting. The clinic, the guest rooms, the restaurants and yoga pavilion are built in a harmonious, traditional style. The garden is a wonderful place with tropical medicinal plants. The region is embedded in attractions, nature reserves and ancient temples.

Clinic
The Shakti Vani Ayu Ayurveda clinic is the centre of the resort. The large building includes eight treatment and diagnostic rooms. With a 20-strong team of doctors, therapists, pharmacists and nurses, the clinic has extensive support capabilities for the international guests and also acts as a medical centre in the region. On the roof terrace of the hospital, guests are welcome to relax in the fresh air after their treatments, and enjoy the beautiful view of the gardens, the resort and the sea.

Accommodation
Our resort offers a 5-star standard. The spacious luxury rooms with their exclusive interior and an airy ceiling height are equipped with a rain shower, refrigerator, air conditioning and, optionally, with TV and Internet. Two generous private terraces open up a clear view of the park. The establishment with all modern comforts contributes significantly to the harmonious environment which allows you to fully recover during an Ayurvedic cure or a wellness stay.
Restaurant
In Ayurvedic medicine, the diet is playing an important role in the process of finding the 8 balance of the Doha’s as well as to bring body, mind and soul back into balance. The diet is thus an essential part of the treatment. Shakti Vani Ayu offers variety with two open restaurant pavilions and a closed restaurant with air-conditioned area. The cuisine is traditional, purely ayurvedic and vegetarian. The dishes are freshly prepared and the vegetables are harvested mostly from our own organic cultivation. Each guest receives an individual, to his diagnosis tuned diet which includes type-specific meals.
Yoga pavilion
In the Ayurvedic-philosophy Yoga is an important practice to balance body, mind and soul and thus an important part of Panchakarma treatment. In the yoga pavilion, which is embedded in the natural garden, daily yoga classes and common meditation classes will be held. In addition, topical presentations are offered, to which all resort guests and locals can participate.
Herbal and medicinal plants garden
The garden with herbal and medicinal plants at the back of the resort park, was created by Dr. Ravichandran M.D. (A.M.) (IND) himself. It contains his personal medicinal plant collection, including some rare plants he had been growing from childhood on. The garden of medicinal plants is available for research, teaching and recreation as well as for visitors and guests.

Climate
On the east coast of Sri Lanka, where we are located, tropical savannah climate can be enjoyed throughout. Temperatures range from pleasant 27 degrees in the winter months up to 34 degrees during the summer months. The night temperatures rarely drop below 24 degrees. In November and December the northeast monsoon brings rains.
